While Nigerians are still filled with spectrum of emotions about when the wave of fuel scarcity will end, the heat gradually crawled to the south, RIVERS STATE precisely. Protests has allegedly broken out in Diobu and mile 1 areas of Port Harcourt, Rivers state.

According to reports, Banks are being set on fire over the new cash swap, it was also reported that hoodlums hijacked and took advantage of the situation by looting shops, burning tyres and causing social unrest to the environment.

The Rivers state police command gave correspondents reassurance to bring a total calm to the situation in no time.
