The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN), Ilorin, Kwara State, has extended heartfelt appreciation to the Executive Director of Trends Group of Companies, Hajia Madinat Adigun-Oladotun, for her show of support to the tremendous achievement of UNILORIN’s debate champions –a team of five debaters.
The team won the Grand Finale of the maiden edition of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA)’s debate championship, becoming the overall African champion after triumphing over the Kwame Nkrumah University, Zambia team in a closely contested debate which took place on August 22, 2023, in Lusaka, Zambia.

Following the team’s emergence as the overall African champion, Hajia Madinat shared news of the tremendous achievement with the Founder and Chairman of LUBCON Group, Engr. Jani Ibrahim, who happily hosted the champions and donated generously to their resounding success with a contribution of ₦500,000.”
In its show of gratitude, UNILORIN regarded Hajia Madinat as one of its esteemed fans as well as a distinguished alumna of the University of Ilorin. Hajia Madinat has also made an indelible mark as the immediate former Public Relations Officer of the Kwara Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (KWACCIMA). She spends her waking hours remarkably as the Executive Director of sales of Trendspack Limited, the CEO of Trendsville Media, and Manager, of Brand Communications, ZGM Investment Group.
