Nigerian Association Of Chambers Of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), today in Abuja, received the team of Polish Investors invited into the country by the head of ZGM Investment Group, Dr. Abbey Onas. Present at the occasion were Dele Kelvin Oye, Esq., the National President of NACCIMA and Engr. Jani Ibrahim, the Deputy President of the association.
Dr. Abbey Onas recognized the impact of NACCIMA in connecting foreign companies with the local ones. He stated that the visit would introduce the investors to the agency in order to guide them. He noted that the zone is making efforts to involve local investors in the zone to take advantage of the incentives.
The NACCIMA President stated that the agency will study the current state of relations between Nigeria and Poland. He noted that it is NACCIMA’s job to provide the structure for businesses thrive in the country. He promised to connect the team with resource persons who operate in their specific sectors so as to drive partnership.
Highlighting the numerous business opportunities in the country, he said that the profit margins from investments in the country are quite high.
Engr. Jani Ibrahim appreciated the delegation. He also proposed the idea of building industrial parks within Nigeria as such will provide ready infrastructure for companies to produce. He noted that the production activities within the country serves not just Nigeria but Africa as a whole.
Architect Zakirudeen Oladotun, the Technical director of ZGM Investment Group, thanked NACCIMA for receiving the delegation. He expressed hope that the Polish team’s horizon has been broadened through the meeting.
NACCIMA President, Kelvin Oye Esq., presented the team with an award in recognition of the immense efforts that are being made to secure foreign direct investments in Nigeria. Dr Abbey Onas, ZGM Chairman, also presented the President with an award of excellence, highlighting his performance in promoting the economic development of Nigeria.
