The Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA) has announced the 2025 edition of its annual MSME Fair, scheduled for May 6 at NECA House in Lagos. This year’s theme is “Galvanising MSMEs for Economic Growth and Stability.”
The event aims to support micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by providing access to tools, resources and networks needed to grow in today’s challenging business environment.
NECA’s Director-General, Adewale Smatt Oyerinde, described MSMEs as the “lifeblood of Nigeria’s economy” and emphasized the fair’s focus on helping business owners overcome economic and regulatory challenges.
A major highlight of the event will be a keynote address by Adenike Adeyemi, CEO of FATE Foundation, who is known for her work in MSME development. She is expected to offer insights on innovative strategies for business growth.
The fair will also feature interactive sessions with key government agencies responsible for licensing, tax and business registration. These sessions aim to simplify complex regulatory processes for entrepreneurs.
Participants will have the chance to showcase their products, meet potential investors, and learn about digital tools, funding options and sustainable growth strategies.
NECA says the event supports its mission to drive enterprise development and long-term economic resilience by empowering MSMEs with the right knowledge and opportunities.
The fair is expected to attract regulators, financial institutions, industry leaders, and technology experts committed to supporting Nigeria’s MSME sector.
