President Bola Tinubu met with the Director General of the Nigeria-China Strategic Partnership (NCSP), Mr. Joseph Tegbe, at the Presidential Villa to review the progress of Nigeria’s partnership with China.

Mr. Tegbe briefed the President on recent developments and initiatives under the NCSP, noting key progress in implementing the strategic agreement signed by President Tinubu and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Since his appointment, Tegbe has been in active talks with Chinese government officials and business leaders to attract investment into vital sectors such as infrastructure, technology, manufacturing, agriculture, education, healthcare and mining.

President Tinubu praised the NCSP’s efforts and reaffirmed his administration’s support for deepening ties with China to drive Nigeria’s industrialization and economic growth. He urged the NCSP team to focus on fast tracking priority projects that bring real benefits to Nigerians.

The Nigeria-China Strategic Partnership is a core part of the country’s foreign and economic policy, focused on unlocking new opportunities in trade, development and human capital.
