The Nigeria Police Force has announced that 151 senior officers, ranked Assistant Superintendent and above, are currently facing disciplinary proceedings over alleged misconduct and professional violations.

The hearings, held at the Force Headquarters in Abuja from July 14 2025 to July 25 2025,aim to uphold internal accountability and professional standards, according to a statement by Force PRO, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi.

The officers, drawn from various commands nationwide, are undergoing a transparent review process under existing police regulations. Outcomes will be submitted to the Police Service Commission for final decisions on sanctions or exoneration.

The Force Disciplinary Committee, responsible for handling such cases, plays a key role in maintaining ethical conduct within the police.
