President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Olubunmi Kuku, on her election as Vice-President of Airports Council International (ACI) Africa.
Her election was confirmed at the 34th ACI Africa General Assembly in Lusaka, Zambia, on September 13, 2025.
Tinubu, in a statement by his adviser Bayo Onanuga, praised FAAN for raising Nigeria’s aviation standards and attracting global recognition. He also commended Kuku’s leadership, which previously earned her a seat on the ACI World Governing Board.
ACI, founded in 1991, represents over 2,000 airports in 170 countries, promoting global aviation safety and standards.
